What does the program do?
- Insulating floors, walls, and attics
- Air Sealing – reducing drafts – caulking and weather-stripping
- Comprehensive Home Assessment (Energy Audit). This audit uses a number of diagnostic tools (Blower Door, Infrared Camera, CO Analyzer) to take inventory of the current conditions in your home, including the following:
- air infiltration rates
- insulation levels
- domestic hot water
- heating system efficiency
- distribution system (ductwork)
- health and safety (carbon monoxide levels/ moisture problems).
Eligibility:
- No income requirements
- Residential homeowner
- Audit fee required
