Greg Richards Deputy Director for CAPCO

Cortland County Community Action Program, Inc., (CAPCO) is pleased to announce that Greg Richards has been named Deputy Director for the organization. Greg joined CAPCO in 2014 as the Human Resources Director. In that role, Greg has been responsible for numerous systems and activities. These include working closely with Fiscal in implementing on-line timecards, setting up all CAPCO’s current employee systems, transitioning the agency into all of the ACA requirements, overseeing the growth of the HR department, employee benefits including health and retirement, guiding the HR pieces of the response to COVID-19 and many more. As Deputy Director, Greg will continue to oversee and guide all the HR functions of the Agency. He will continue to lead CAPCO safety and wellness efforts. In addition, he will be responsible for the internal controls of CAPCO including oversight of Agency and Program planning, reporting, assessment, and evaluation.

CAPCO is pleased that Greg has accepted this position. We are looking forward to the continued growth of the agency and Greg’s involvement in that process.
